The Down Syndrome Research Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Conference and Celebration
Join families, educators, clinicians, service providers, and researchers in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Oct. 23-24 as we come together to learn, share and inspire. We have an outstanding lineup of speakers, including international experts and experienced practitioners in the field of Down syndrome.
Pricing and Registration:
The Early Bird Deadline is May 31, 2015. Register early to reserve your spot and take advantage of the Early Bird rate. Information about registration for the speaker sessions of your choice will follow once the schedule of events has been finalized.
Full Conference (Family Member/Student): $275 Early Bird/$325 Regular
Full Conference (Professional): $325 Early Bird/$375 Regular
Single Day (Family Member/Student): $150 Early Bird/$175 Regular
Single Day (Professional): $175 Early Bird/$200 Regular
Masquerade Dance (Adult): $25 if attending the conference, $50 if not
Masquerade Dance (Child 7+): $15 if attending the conference, $30 if not

Workshop Descriptions and Speaker Bios
Register early and reserve a spot in the FREE children’s program!
Due to space restrictions the children’s program does not include siblings.
We are busy planning the activities for this program so the content is subject to change. Highlights include:
- Age 3-5: play stations, special activities and entertainment
- Age 6-11: art and movement activities, Bollywood dance, and mask making
- Age 12-15: Bollywood, Zen yoga and Language Express
- Age 16-25: one day employment camp hosted by posAbilities or Bollywood and Zen Yoga; mask making, hair and make-up
The conference will close on Saturday night with a family friendly dance for all ages.
The Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites is in close proximity to English Bay, Stanley Park with the aquarium, seawall and pitch and putt golf course; and downtown attractions including Canada Place and Flyover Canada.
