UK – make their voices heard at the 2015 General Election

Note: Learning disability in UK is the same thing than intellectual disability elsewhere.

With the 2015 General Election less than a year away, we’re setting the wheels in motion to mobilise the grassroots movement that Mencap was born from almost 70 years ago.

Our votes will help decide who runs our country for the next 5 years.

Every day, issues like poor healthcare, hate crime and social isolation affect 1.4 million people with a learning disability and their families in the UK. But these issues are rarely, if ever, debated during the elections and most politicians do not understand how these things impact on people’s lives.

This can change.

MPs have the power but we need to tell them what matters to us and make sure learning disability is firmly on their agenda.

Across the country, people are campaigning to make our voices heard on the issues that matter to us at the 2015 General Election. People like you. People that want to see change.

Hear my voice is the campaign bringing us together to get our voices heard. Join us.

Be a part of the movement to get learning disability issues on the agenda.

Will you join us?

Together we are louder.

Join the #HearMyVoice campaign.
